My Story
I've never believed a studio has to choose between ambition and restraint. Every project I've taken on — from a private residence to a resort meant to become one of Africa's most significant hotels — has been an argument for the same idea: that good design is felt long before it's explained.

Miami to Dubai
My career started long before Beyond Design existed — more than twenty years of interior design and architecture practice, first across Miami, then across Dubai. Those years shaped the way I still work today: start with how a space will actually be lived in, then let the form follow.
By the time I joined Beyond Design as CEO, that instinct had become a working method — one I've since built into a studio, not just a personal style.

Beyond Design is the creative cornerstone of Infinity Group, a UAE-based conglomerate founded in 2007. As CEO, I lead a multidisciplinary studio of 60+ professionals across two global studios — Dubai and East Africa — carrying a single vision from first sketch to final handover, rather than handing a project between disconnected consultants.
That's why I run the studio across four connected disciplines — master planning, architecture, interior design, and lead consultancy — under one roof. No gaps, no conflicting visions, no lost time between teams.
In the StudioA Story Still Being Written
Anantara Zanzibar Resort & Residences — set to open in 2027 — has already won Best Hotel Architecture, Africa at the African Hotel Awards 2025–2026. It's the milestone I'm proudest of so far, but I don't think of it as an ending. Every project ahead is a chance to prove the same point again: that restraint and ambition were never opposites.
